Previz Project

For this project we had to create a previsualization sequence. We had freedom to choose what story we wanted to shoot, and we decided to go with a stealth soldier vs. a cool ninja scene. We also had to shoot all of our animations using the suit and our actor for this project. Once we had our Motion List ready, we began shooting. After we got our recordings, we once again cleaned them inside of Motive and then sent them to Motion Builder to attach to our model rigs. This time around we got to render inside of Unreal Engine 5. Below is our final movie, Enjoy.

Controlling Props Assignment

For this Assignment we had to hook up a prop to an animation given to us. This took some editing of the Model rig in order to get a realistic controlled movement of the hand to connect properly with the axe prop.

Game Animation Pack Project

For this project our team was tasked with shooting 12 animations and recording them inside our campus lab studio using the Opti track system. For this we had our group mate Brandon wear the Opti Track suit and we had to apply all 50 markers on him wearing the suit in order to record inside the studio correctly. We each came up with 4 different shots to record but ultimately Brandon was our actor for our team. Once we recorded all of the shots, we then took them inside of Motive to clean up and then sent them to Motion Builder to attach to our model rig. Below are the final renders.

Prop Movement Project

For this project we worked in teams of 3. My partners were Brandon and Owais, and we decided to create a prop movement using Cars as our props and we shot our recording inside the Opti track system in our lab on campus. We used markers and attached them to a couple of computer mice to record the movement. Here is our motion capture we recorded.
